This poster is the very first in Victor Moscoso’s Neon Rose series. Neon Rose was Moscoso’s collaboration with the owners of the Matrix. He printed and distributed the posters himself. Any posters not used for promotion were kept by the artist and sold independently. Unlike the rest of the series the NR-0 was printed only once and in a very low quantity. According to Eric King author of "The Collectors Guide to Psychedelic Concert Posters Postcards and Handbills 1965-1973” NR- 0 was printed in quantities of less than 500 probably in the 300 range. Conversely the rest of the series was printed in quantities of 2000 and several were reprinted. The use of color and design of the NR-0 is simple and elegant as opposed to the other Neon Rose posters which utilize elaborate lettering and bright vibrating colors. This Original First Printing measures 14 1/8" x 19 7/8" The Condition is flawless. No holes or missing paper or tears or any size! Another outstanding poster from 1966!"
