This rare handbill is appearing in our auction for the FIRST time! It advertised the People's Park Bail Ball, an event featuring music from Creedence Clearwater Revival, The Grateful Dead, Jefferson Airplane, Santana, and more. The event took place at Winterland on May 28, 1969. People's Park is a public park in Berkeley, CA. Two weeks before the show advertised here, protests occurred in the park in response to UC Berkeley's plan to fence it off and build on it. The concert was held as a benefit to the cause. 100% original with no restoration!
