We are beyond thrilled to be offering the ORIGINAL printing of this historic poster for the FIRST TIME in our auction, and for the first time with CGC Authentication! This piece titled "Are We Next?" features powerful imagery that may be shocking, as was its intent. Artist Wes Wilson designed this piece in 1965 as a statement on America's involvement in the Vietnam War. This was the first poster he ever designed, though he went on to become one of the most notable psychedelic poster artists of all time.
Wes Wilson was one of the most socially and ethically conscious voices of the San Francisco scene, and this piece illustrates that point. However, the poster's message rings as true as ever to this day. An amazing, historical piece that would be a great addition to any collection.
