Mountain and Wishbone Ash are featured on this original poster promoting their appearances at the legendary Rainbow Theatre on November 12th & 13th, 1971. The Rainbow Theatre in London has a rich history of incredible concerts, from Hendrix to Pink Floyd to Van Morrison to Zappa. Jimi Hendrix first burned a guitar onstage at the Rainbow in 1967, with the collusion of his manager Chas Chandler and a journalist from NME. The Beach Boys popular album "Live In London" was recorded there in 1968. The band Mountain was formed in Long Island New York during 1969 and they were early pioneers of hard rock & heavy metal. Their third gig as a working group was the Woodstock Festival! Their set was received enthusiastically by the audience, but the they did not appear in the film.
