This is an early Grateful Dead original handbill. This was created by artist Terrance Ratza for a two day run of shows the Dead played at the Old Fillmore. It was re-named that after Bill Graham moved to The Carousel Ballroom and then subsequently called it The Fillmore West. The music performed both nights was recorded and has been shared frequently between deadheads for decades, almost to legendary status. Here is a historic collectible from an early era of the band when they were about to break open with two high-selling albums the following year.
