The Cellar Door club was the premier music spot in Georgetown. This is a RARE 1970s poster featuring a lineup of events at various venues in Washington, DC. Dion, Oliver, Hydra, and Eric Quincy Tate all performed around the city in February of 1970. The great Dion is best remembered for the singles Runaround Sue, The Wanderer and Ruby Baby. This show at the legendary Cellar Door happened shortly after he left Laurie Records and signed a new contact with Warner Brothers Records continuing his career. This poster has never appeared in our auction until now, and likely won't be made available again for quite awhile!
