Formed in 1994 under the name Galactic Prophylactic, this talented group of musicians gained popularity in New Orleans with their unstoppable mix of rock, funk, brass band, blues, jazz, hip hop, and electronic sounds. Galactic is also noted for inviting guest musicians from New Orleans to perform onstage with them. This New Years Eve party at the famous Warfield Theatre in San Francisco rang in the new 2002 year with a hell of a jam!
