1968 G/G-680816 Country Joe Grande Ballroom Postcard 8

Here we have the second CGC Graded example of this high grade postcard we've auctioned! Although not remembered as well for their record sales as the Dead and The Airplane, Country Joe and The Fish were one of the most popular bay area bands of the day. They were partially responsible for bridging the folk scene with the psychedelic rock movement. Country Joe and The Fish are also well represented in the vast body of vintage rock poster and postcard art.

The Grande Ballroom series produced some of the finest imagery from the 1960�s music scene. In many cases promoter Russ Gibb chose to only produce postcards to promote events. That being the case, Grande cards and card sets have become one of the most highly sought after items by serious collectors!
