Appearing for the FIRST time in our auction, this original postcard from the Grande Ballroom series! Though this item is a part of the Grande series, the event promoted here actually occurred at the Baldwin Pavilion at Oakland University in Auburn Hills, Michigan. This card advertises the Pink Floyd, MC5, The Stooges, Procol Harum, Howlin' Wolf, and more performing at the venue in September 1968. The Grande Ballroom series produced some of the finest imagery from the 1960s music scene. In many cases promoter Russ Gibb chose to only produce postcards to promote events. This was one of those events that no posters were produced for!
