This is the first example of this long lost original concert poster to ever appear in our auction. Here we have a striking black and white poster for a benefit concert held at the Fillmore Auditorium in 1966. Along with a then newly formed Jefferson Airplane, the show also featured The Great Society, The Wildflower, Big Mama Thornton, Elvin Jones and a line-up of jazz greats that included Jon Hendricks, and actor / activist Garry Goodrow as the emcee. THE GRATEFUL DEAD also performed at this event (using the Airplane's rig and equipment) however they are not listed on the poster. This event was held to benefit the jazz club known as the "Both/And". This rare specimen is 100% Original with no restoration of any kind!
