This is the very FIRST poster in the Bill Graham numbered series. This advertisement promised ”the Sights and Sounds of the Trips Festival. Just a month prior Graham had been enlisted oversee this historic event. Jefferson Airplane was the band that inaugurated the Fillmore on Feb 4 – 6 1966 which is 45 years old this month.Less than 500 BG-1’s were produced 150 OP-1 with the Peter Bailey credit and the rest OP-2 (pre concert) where the artist’s name was removed. This poster measures 14 31/32” x 19” and is graded Mint 97 according to the very strict grading standards of the Psychedelic Art Exchange. This poster is in pristine condition with no folds tears holes or damage of any kind. The colors are bright and the paper is crisp.
