Here is an example of a poster that illustrates how early posters from ’66 relied on simple colors and hand rendered psychedelic designs. This poster was used to advertise a 1966 festival at the Monterey Fairgrounds Dance hall. It Featured Big Brother, Quicksilver and the Gladstones. A year later the spot would be the location THE Monterey Pop Festival.
