The original promotional poster for The Grateful Dead’s 1973 album release "Wake of The Flood" reproduces an amazing painting by Rick Griffin. As talented as Griffin was with pen and ink, his touch with a brush was equally skillful. After his conversion to Christianity, the artist devoted a great deal of his work to religious themes.
