1967 Big Brother Mt. Tamalpias Outdoor Theater Poster

This 1967 poster was produced for an afternoon concert at Mt Tamalpias Outdoor Theater with Big Brother & The Holding Company and several other Bay Area Bands. The venue was to become the location for the popular Magic Mountain Music Festival later the same year. This image was designed by Gut (Allen Turk), one of the Hells Angels. The event was promoted by the Marin Youth for Action. This vintage poster embodies many of the central elements of the 1960s -- The Hells Angels, Big Brother and the Holding Company, and legendary outdoor festivals.
