In the world of jazz music, Count Basie stands out as a true icon from the 1950's. Later in the 60's, he made a huge comeback when producer Quincy Jones arranged and conducted the album “This Time by Basie!”, which launched the Count back onto the pop charts right before the British invasion. This vintage original handbill promotes two nights at Carnegie Hall in February 1957.
