MC5 started their music career in Michigan and developed a reputation for energetic and polemical live performances. They were a mainstay at the Grande Ballroom in Detroit. Their 1969 debut album “Kick Out the Jams” landed them into the history books. Their lifespan was unfortunately short-lived, and in 1972 the band came to an end - just three years after their debut record.
