From The Houston Freeburg Collection. This Wes Wilson poster announced a Fillmore Auditorium appearance by The Mothers and The Blues Project; the band that was a vehicle for the genius of Al Kooper. Kooper was also instrumental for his part in Bob Dylan's game changing Highway 61 Revisited album. Zappa and the Mothers of Invention played in support at this show; they were just two months shy of the release of Absolutely Free the follow up recording to the groundbreaking Freak Out album.
