The Mothers in 1966! Can you imagine? Frank Zappa and his band came to the famed venue for the 3rd time since it's opening in September of 1966. In support was Oxford Circle. The Saturday night show was held at the Scottish Rights temple. The Mothers of Invention were a groundbreaking musical force in the 1960's. Zappa was a true musical innovator and a larger than life public figure. He is one of those artists with worldwide appeal and this image is one of our most requested pieces. This original handbill was designed by John Myers. Early Fillmore handbills are amongst the most desirable ever produced and always enjoy top demand with collectors.
