In this sale we are offering several lots of original 1960’s underground papers. These publications sprung up in many cities during the ‘’60s and are amazing historical documents of the era. The papers are a clear look into the culture art and ethos of the counter culture communities where they were published. Many have ads for music and records.

This lot features an amazing copy of the Detroit Sun’s “Love in” edition. Gary Grimshaw and John Sinclair edited this publication. It contains a full article on the MC 5 and interviews with both Frank Zappa and Sun RA. It has remained amazingly unfolded!!! This copy would be a great addition to any Detroit/Grande collection.
