Original copies of Rick Griffin's Hawaiian Aoxomoxoa are some of the most coveted, desirable, and expensive concert posters in the world.

This poster has it all, incredible color, design, and one of the best examples of the artist's signature lettering style. It was created for a concert by one of the greatest bands in the history of Rock n Roll, and it's incredibly scarce.

 

The Hawaii Aoxomoxoa was inspired by the artwork for the third Grateful Dead album. This poster was created for a run of canceled 1969 Dead shows in Honolulu, Hawaii. As the legend goes, the printer did not get paid by the promoter and destroyed all but a handful of copies.
