Bill Graham was the most famous and important promoter of all time. Sadly he died in a helicopter crash west of Vallejo, California on October 25, 1991. Within days, many artists and musicians gathered in Golden Gate Park to celebrate his life with a memorial concert. This original poster designed by noted artist Randy Tuten was produced for the event at Polo Fields on November 3, 1991. The concert, titled “Laughter, Love & Music” featured performances by the Grateful Dead, Neil Young, Jackson Browne, Santana, Los Lobos, Tracy Chapman, John Fogerty, and many more.
