This poster was created for the famous Grateful Dead concerts in 1980 at the Warfield Theater in San Francisco. The 1980 Warfield shows featured a rare acoustic set by the Dead. This poster designed by Dennis Larkin features two skeletons leaning on the historic venue; a similar design was made for the 1980 Radio City Music Hall Dead shows but that advertisement was disapproved of by the venue’s management and was quickly recalled.
