This reprint poster offers the same popular and iconic art for far less than a First Print currently commands! Everything changed for Janis Joplin in 1966 when she joined Big Brother and the Holding Company. That band, because of her addition, went on to become a major force in the emerging San Francisco psychedelic rock scene. In 1967 she quickly gained national attention after her performance at the Monterey Pop Festival. This Victor Moscoso designed poster is third in the bright, colorful Neon Rose series, and it's one of the most treasured Big Brother concert posters of all time. Designated RP-3 in Eric King's guide, this lot is technically the 1st official reprint of this issue, as no RP-2 is known to exist.
