The amazing Velvet Underground took the stage at the Boston Tea Party in March of 1968 shortly after the release of White Light White Heat. This simple and elegant design warned spectators of their arrival. This large poster was printed on thick white paper. It measures 17 ½” x 22 ½ inches. It is pure white and looks like it was created yesterday. There are no nicks cuts tears pinholes or restoration of any kind. Just a small corner bump in the upper left corner and light ink overrun! Museum quality poster. Signed in pencil by the artist. Bob Driscoll! This is a scarce and highly desirable mid period “Velvets“ piece. The type of poster that is enjoying peak demand that will grow with time! Watch the action on this one!
