This large headshop poster was produced in 1967 by Mouse Studios printed by Berkeley Bonaparte and features Bob Seidemann's legendary black & white photo of The Grateful Dead taken the same year. Bob Seidemann is widely acknowledged as one of the premier rock and roll photographers of all time. He captured portraits of and collaborated with many icons like Big Brother and the Holding Company George Hunter The Charlatans Janis Joplin and more over his long & noted career. Seidemann also designed album covers "Go to Heaven" for The Grateful Dead and Jerry Garcia’s debut solo album "Garcia". This is a monster sized vintage poster in great condition. PLEASE NOTE: This image has been reprinted many times over the years however THIS is the original first printing (difficult to find & rare) of this popular headshop poster.
