Here we have a LARGE sized original LIMITED EDITION Frank Kozik poster designed for Sonic Youth promoting shows at The Unicorn & The Agora in Houston & Dallas Texas on September 18th & 19th 1992. This run of concerts was part of their Pretty Fucking Dirty Tour. Pavement & The Pain Trees were in support both nights. Thurston Moore and Kim Gordon's Sonic Youth have been widely appreciated for reinventing fresh electric guitar sounds throughout the world of indie and alternative rock. This example was signed & numbered in pencil by Kozik and is the FIRST example of this poster to appear in our auction!
Artist Frank Kozik got his start gaining popularity for designing posters around the Austin area in the late 80’s and early 90’s. His abilities grew and he has since become a member of the Stuckism art movement. His vast collection of beautiful work includes bands like Nirvana Pearl Jam Soundgarden and Stone Temple Pilots.
