Here we have an original poster from overseas produced for an early concert featuring the spectacular Dire Straits! The show was held at the Hemmerleinhalle in Neunkirchen am Brand Germany on May 30th 1979. Although the poster exhibits the cover of their debut album in the lower left corner this concert was actually part of the band's Communiqué Tour promoting their second album of the same name however the tour itself started in February - almost six months before the record was released. Dire Straits fronted by guitar wizard Mark Knopfler were one of the most popular bands during the late seventies and mid-eighties. This is the FIRST example of this Germany relic we have ever auctioned!
