Here we have an original James Brown handbill from the Apollo Theater for a run of late October shows at the historic New York venue! Billing itself as a place "where stars are born and legends are made " the Apollo Theater in New York became famous for launching the careers of many incredible artists. The venue is currently a historical landmark. During the mid-seventies the Apollo struggled to being in the numbers previously seen in the 50s and 60s however James Brown would always return to tear the roof off the place.
