This is an original Electric Light Orchestra 1978 Tour Laminated Clip On Ground Crew Badge used for their concert on September 23rd 1978 at the Capital Centre in Landover MD. This badge pass measures 3 1/4" x 4 1/4". After the release of their mega smash double LP "Out of the Blue" Jeff Lynne Roy Wood Bev Bevan Richard Tandy and company set out on a nine-month 92-date world tour with an enormous stage design and an expensive "space ship" stage with fog machines and lasers. In the US the concerts were billed as "The Big Night" and were their largest up to that point.
