This is a set of 6 authentic Cloth Backstage Patches from Led Zeppelin’s 1977 North American Tour! THIS LOT IS FROM THE 4 NIGHT CAPITOL CENTRE Landover Maryland run of shows! There was a different color used for each night. Each measure 3 1/4”. It was the band’s final major tour of the states and was unfortunately cut short due to the sad untimely death of Robert Plant’s 5 year old son. The tour overall was a massive financial success for the group selling out large arenas and stadiums. During performances of “Ten Years Gone” John Paul Jones played a new custom triple-necked acoustic instrument which contained a mandolin twelve-string guitar and six-string guitar. Late seventies Zeppelin at their biggest!
