This original handbill was issued for a 1976 performance at the Philadelphia Arena by southern rockers Lynyrd Skynyrd. The band's career was abruptly shaken a year later when their chartered airplane crashed killing Van Zant Gaines and backup singer Cassie Gaines and also seriously injuring the rest of the band. This is the first example of this handbill to appear in our auction.
