This handbill is signed by the artist Randy Tuten!
In late 1970 psychedelic rock legends Quicksilver Messenger Service recorded their 5th album “What About Me”. Although artist Michael Cantrell produced the cover art noted poster artist Randy Tuten was hired by Capitol Records to design the promotional material for the album release. Tuten brought to life this very scarce original promo handbill with a traditional feel complementary colors and beautiful lettering! This record would be the group’s last album with the talented piano player Nicky Hopkins in the lineup. As many deadheads are already aware Hopkins performed regularly with 1970’s incarnations of the Jerry Garcia Band several years later!
