The check is SIGNED BY SMOKEY SMITH on the front and SIGNED / ENDORSED BY MARTY ROBBINS on the reverse!
Dated April 26th 1969 and check number 10150 from the register this check was written for $1 750 to Marty Robbins as payment for appearances on the historic country music radio show and concerts. The official bank stamp on the reverse shows the check was deposited on April 29th 1969. The bank stamp in red on the front shows the check cleared on May 2nd 1969. Iowa's country music disc jockey & concert promoter Smokey Smith had a huge impact on promoting such iconic country music stars as Johnny Cash Loretta Lynn Patsy Cline Waylon Jennings and Buck Owens.
