This original handbill was produced for the 1976 Orange Festival scheduled in Nimes France for August 26th 27th and 28th 1976. The festival was cancelled. A petition was drafted and signed by many local businesses and establishments to push for the festival to happen alas the 3 day event was still not to take place (although the 1975 Orange Fest the year prior was an overall success). Scheduled artists were Rainbow Kevin Ayers Rory Gallagher Eddie And The Hot Rods The Troggs Curved Air Klaus Schulze Todd Rundgren's Utopia Status Quo Black Oak Arkansas Ted Nugent The O Band Little Bob Story Hot Tuna Quicksilver Messenger Service Patti Smith John Cale Steeleye Span.
