Here we have an Original Handbill from the tiny Matrix club in San Francisco’s Marina that we are offering for the FIRST time in a PAE auction!
The Matrix hosted many Blues and folk acts along with the emerging San Francisco sound. Early material from this venue is super scarce and currently undervalued relative to their historical importance and design.
This issue features The Wildflower early proponents of psychedelic folk-rock. They were kind of precursors to the hippies and were at the very beginnings of the folk-psych music scene. The concerts occurred in May of 1967. This original handbill is SIGNED by four of the band's original members!
