Presenting for the FIRST time in a PAE auction this original handbill from Max's Kansas City! Along with CBGB's Max's Kansas City was one of the premier venues and birthplaces of the New York punk scene. It operated from 1965 until 1981. This handbill features the club's calendar from June in 1976 a schedule that included bands and artists such as The Ramones Wayne (later Jayne) County and John Kay. This is an amazing piece of early punk rock history that is unlikely to appear at auction again any time soon!
