Big Brother & The Holding Company was one of the original San Francisco psychedelic rock bands whose music is important to the work we do here at Psychedelic Art Exchange. They released their first record a self-titled album on August 23rd 1967. The album featured a few of what ended up being the band's greatest tracks including songs like "Call On Me" and "Down On Me". The legendary Janis Joplin was the band's singer at this time. This lot features the album sleeve (record excluded) from this first release with an authentic signature from Joplin herself written on the front! This is a truly amazing piece that you won't want to miss out on.
