Presenting a special cardboard concert poster from our own backyard here in lovely Maryland. This 1971 Original Jethro Tull "Tree Frog" poster is a very scarce relic from the Baltimore music scene of the 1970's. Tree Frog Productions was a grassroots promotion company that staged concerts at Painters Mill Music Fair a small theater in Owings Mills Maryland a suburb north of Baltimore. The posters were printed in small quantities on cardboard & paper stock variants and are next to impossible to find in any condition.
This vintage poster was produced to promote a April 4th 1971 Jethro Tull concert and this piece is a bit brittle & shows it age but is a very good example from this short lived poster series. According to reports the 2nd show never happened because Ian Anderson's voice was shot after the first performance. VERY SCARCE!
