This headshop poster from 1967 was designed by artist Cathy Hill. It depicts a scene from Lewis Carroll's "Alice in Wonderland" a favorite story among hippies due to the fact that parallels between Alice's adventure and a psychedelic trip can easily be drawn. The text reads "One side makes you taller one side makes you smaller" a direct quote from the original Alice in Wonderland text which was also adapted by the psychedelic band Jefferson Airplane for their 1967 song "White Rabbit". The text in the lower right-hand corner reads "Alice and the Caterpillar". This beautiful psychedelic poster changes color under a blacklight.
