This vintage headshop poster features Frank Zappa and the Mothers under a $10 bill with U.S. President Lyndon B. Johnson's face on it. The text on the poster reads "mothers and big daddy are both in it just for the money". This text is likely a reference to the band's album We're Only In It For The Money which was released in 1968 the same year as this poster. This album was a satirical concept album that mocked both left and right-wing politics especially the hippie movement. In particular the album pokes fun at The Beatles' 1967 album Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. Zappa was notorious for his disdain for hippies and wrote multiple songs throughout his career making fun of them. This poster glows nicely under a blacklight!
