Vintage headshop blacklight poster titled "California Cocktail" with the traditional bad luck number 13 superstition in a skull and flames. The number 13 in this poster is a reference to the 13th letter of the alphabet: M standing for Marijuana. The number was used frequently on headshop posters during this era as an underground code. Designed by Dunham & Deatherage and produced by Yellow Unicorn INC in Manhattan Kansas during 1969. A California Cocktail refers to stuffing weed in the end of a cigarette if you don't have any papers or a pipe. This poster is open to interpretation.
