This LARGE vintage Jimi Hendrix Experience black velvet poster was produced by Rand Poster Sales & Postermart Distributors in 1968. The black parts of this poster is overlaid with black flocking which gives it a velvet feel. Posters like this of the era are often referred to as velvet posters. The beautiful image was designed by the legendary concert poster artist Dail W. Beeghly although he is not credited on this velvet version of the poster. The artist produced a series of these blacklight posters in the late 60's and early 70's featuring top acts of the day like the Stones Dylan and Janis Joplin.
