The Woodstock Music and Arts Fair is easily the most famous musical/cultural  event of the 1960’s.  The festival intended to be held in Wallkill New York.  However permits were denied and the festival promoters had to find a new location just a month prior to the festival. The festival was then moved to Bethel NY. The rest is history. The poster being offered here was designed for the original site and was designed by Fillmore East poster artist David Byrd.
