During the 1960’s Bobby "Blue" Bland became one of the great storytellers of R&B gospel blues and soul music. After his #1 hit “Further On Up The Road” made waves his songs charted regularly through the 1960’s. Bland would eventually be inducted in both the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Blues Hall of Fame.
