A beautiful CGC Graded 9.9 Original pre-concert first printing of Janis Joplin & Big Brother at the Avalon! The FD 93 poster by artist Joe Gomez is well known as a rather unique design in the Family Dog series. The artist only did a few posters for the Avalon but “Optical Occlusion” stands out because its bright color patterns remind us of some of the Neon Rose posters. As a Big Brother / Janis Joplin poster it has always been acquired by collectors and showcased in many fans’ treasure troves.
When it comes to quality condition and state of preservation the CGC 9.9 numerical grade says far more than words could ever explain. The quality of this poster is very special and must be seen in person to be fully appreciated! Only a very small amount of posters are worthy of receiving the high and extremely rare grade of 9.9 and these treasures are not to be overlooked.
