| Earlier this year Margo St. James passed away at the age of 83. This large original poster was created to promote the 5th annual Hooker's Ball held at the Cow Palace on October 20th 1978. In the 1970's self-described prostitute and sex-positive feminist Margo St. James was the founder of the "COYOTE" organization (Call Off Your Old Tired Ethics) which advocated decriminalization of prostitution. Fund raising involved an annual hosting of the well-attended Hooker's Ball which gathered 20 000 attendees in 1978 at the historic Cow Palace.
