PAE is pleased to present the very FIRST CGC graded specimen of this poster to EVER appear in our auction!
In addition to promoting concerts at the Matrix Victor Moscoso's Neon Rose series also included commissions for posters advertising special events and art exhibitions. This LARGE original poster was produced in 1967 to advertise San Francisco's KMPX FM 107 Radio Station. A Neon Rose set-breaker as many people need this issue to complete their collection of NR series issues!
The NR-20 double sized poster was printed in three versions (OP-1 OP-2 OP-3) all being considered Original First Printings. Their were no reprints. This example here being the OP-2 version differs from the others by only one coat of silver ink which allows the overlapping circle patterns to slightly show through the silver areas. Most examples of this issue are damaged easily due to its large size however this specimen remains in good shape and is the first we've ever handled. A special opportunity for those who've been waiting to add this issue to their collection!
