Mojo Navigator Rock and Roll News was one of the first fan-made zines.  It was published in San Francisco California for just one year between August 1966 and 1967.  The zines were printed with a mimeograph that was created by David Harris and Greg Shaw. Each issue features articles related to everything about the 1960s San Francisco rock music scene. The zine covered early Grateful Dead Jefferson Airplane The Fillmore anything Haight-Ashbury relevant and featured exclusive interviews. This issue Mojo Navigator #8 features an interview with Big Brother and the Holding Company members James Gurley Peter Albin David Getz Sam Andrew and the lovely Janis Joplin.
