This original Pacific Northwest poster advertises the raunchy group of madness GWAR for a concert at the legendary La Luna in Portland during May of 1993. This is the first time we’ve offered this Original Poster in our auction! It was produced for hanging on telephone poles record store windows ticket agencies and coffee houses around town.
Material from the pacific northwest is always considered special by collectors. They often tell a story all their own and have a different vibe than pieces from other parts of the country. It’s hard to believe this poster is over 25 years old. “Telephone pole flyers” like this are highly collectible and are notably representative of the music loving culture that produced them.
