| This poster was designed for the Monterey World Pop Festival which was set to occur in March of 1970. However the event never actually took place despite tickets having been sold. This event was set to be a great one with the poster advertising 60 hours of music and an international film festival. However due to issues with permits the event was ultimately canceled. Though the festival was likely planned in the spirit of the legendary Monterey Pop Festival that took place in 1967 the two festivals were unrelated and conceived by different promoters.
